election erection tomorrow

Well, it is election day tomorrow and I really am not sure still what to do. I consider myself a liberal and usually vote that way but I have never tied myself down to a political party in the real sense. I am by nature a leftist thinking type, feeling much more comfortable with mild socialism. In this riding we have a walking puke running for the Conservatives. Tony Clement was a Mike Harris flunkie and I still have trouble forgiving that provincial government for all the harm they did to this province! I would sooner vote for Satan than Tony Clement. Unfortunately the picture gets cloudy now. Andy Mitchell, the Liberal and a cabinet minister, is an obvious choice BUT I can't stand Paul Martin and what he has done behind the scenes, not only in his party but on the national level. That matters to me. The NDP candidate doesn't seem very interested in winning anything as she never goes to meetings or sends out info. Is she running a non-campaign to give Andy a chance? Who knows. I believe there is a green party candidate. They have a few good ideas. I like the concept of an environmental based party but they have so many whackos and also some very strange planks in their platform that I know they are not ready for any serious consideration. Well, so what do I do? I think I will vote liberal and tell anyone who asks that I voted for the party they voted for. Problem solved. My future son-in-law works for the NDP and he said that the party gets so much money for each vote cast for them. Maybe I should do that. But I think I will just tell him I did, what the hell. Horrible thing is that I used to care about all this but I have seen too much deceit from our governments of late. Where is Fidel Castro when you need him?
